ANS NORMATIVE RESOLUTION No. 680, OF SEPTEMBER 18, 2026

ANS has formalized the update of the List of Health Procedures and Events (Rol) approved at the 643rd Meeting of the Board of Directors (DICOL). Starting Oct 1, 2026, the following become mandatory coverage:

adalimumab for children aged two years and older and adolescents with active non-infectious uveitis;

rituximab for maintenance therapy in patients with ANCA-associated vasculitis;

liposomal amphotericin B for the treatment of visceral leishmaniasis;

ultrasonic liver elastography for people with primary biliary cholangitis and suspected or diagnosed hepatic fibrosis or cirrhosis; and

hormonal intrauterine device or system for patients with endometriosis who have a contraindication to, or do not adhere to, combined oral contraceptives, in addition to the indications set out in the package insert.

For the hormonal device, DUT No. 175 was created. DUTs No. 65.12, 65.17, 119 and 158 were also amended.

ANS OPERATIONAL RESOLUTION No. 3,172, OF SEPTEMBER 18, 2026

ANS has instituted the Fiscal Direction regime at SELECT OPERADORA DE PLANO DE SAÚDE LTDA., ANS registration No. 35.805-3, due to serious economic-financial and administrative abnormalities that jeopardize the continuity or quality of care for beneficiaries.

ANS Personnel Ordinance No. 267/2026 appointed Ecirleide Santos de Oliveira Lins Noronha to serve as fiscal director.

ANS OPERATIONAL RESOLUTION No. 3,171, OF SEPTEMBER 18, 2026

ANS granted a period of up to 60 days for the beneficiaries of DR DIA PLANOS ODONTOLÓGICOS E SAÚDE LTDA., ANS registration No. 42.365-3, to exercise special portability of waiting periods.

The measure covers all beneficiaries, regardless of plan type and contracting date, including those whose coverage ended within the 60 days prior to the opening of the period.

The ordinary requirements of minimum tenure and price-range compatibility will not be required. Waiting periods and temporary partial coverage still in progress may be fulfilled for the remaining period with the receiving operator.

The receiving operators must review the requests within ten days and accept the beneficiaries who meet the requirements of the resolution.

ANS OPERATIONAL RESOLUTION No. 3,170, OF SEPTEMBER 18, 2026

ANS ordered the extrajudicial liquidation of UNIVIDA USA OPERADORA EM SAÚDE S.A., ANS registration No. 42.213-4.

ANS Personnel Ordinance No. 266/2026 appointed Marilena Simões Valentim to serve as extrajudicial liquidator.

EXCERPT OF TECHNICAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT

ANS and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (Ministério Público do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul) entered into an agreement for the exchange of information, technical and scientific cooperation, integrated action and improvement of the instruments for monitoring and regulating supplementary health.

The agreement will be valid for 36 months and there is no indication of any transfer of funds.
