ANS releases economic and financial data for Q1 2026
The National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) releases today, Tuesday, Jun 9, 2026, the economic and financial data of health plans for the first quarter of 2026. Overall, the sector posted a positive result, at a level similar to the same period of 2025. The information is available in the Supplementary Health Economic and Financial Dashboard (Painel Econômico-Financeiro da Saúde Suplementar), which allows consultation by quarter since 2018. ANS also updated the Supplementary Health Economic and Financial Atlas (Atlas Econômico-Financeiro da Saúde Suplementar), a publication that helps in understanding the state of competition in the sector. The dashboard brings together information such as: market concentration indices, operators with the largest shares, and the number of plans available. ANS receives Gold Seal for Good Regulatory Practices
The National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) received, on Tuesday, Jun 9, the Gold Seal for Good Regulatory Practices from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), for Normative Resolution No. 623/2024, which established new rules for the handling by health plan operators and benefits administrators of beneficiaries’ requests, in all contracting modalities.
