NORMATIVE RESOLUTION ANS No. 656, OF DECEMBER 22, 2025: Amends Article 10 of Normative Resolution No. 489, of March 29, 2022, which provides for the application of penalties for violations of the legislation on private health care plans. Note: as discussed at the last DICOL meeting, the purpose of the rule is to align RN 489/22 with RN 475/21. Accordingly, the penalty compatibility factor provided for in Article 10 is no longer based on the number of lives of the OPS and becomes the OPS segment (S1, S2, S3 and S4).
NORMATIVE RESOLUTION ANS No. 657, OF DECEMBER 22, 2025: Amends Normative Resolution No. 483, of March 29, 2022, which provides for the procedures adopted by the National Supplementary Health Agency – ANS for structuring and carrying out its enforcement actions. Note: RN No. 657 does not bring substantial innovations in relation to the drafts that were previously analyzed throughout 2025. We draw attention, however, to Annex III, which governs “other operational aspects relating to the NIP, PAP and sanctioning administrative proceedings”, which does not innovate in the legal order, but had not been previously disclosed.
NORMATIVE RESOLUTION ANS No. 658, OF DECEMBER 22, 2025: Provides for the procedures adopted by the National Supplementary Health Agency – ANS for structuring and carrying out planned enforcement actions. Note: ANS opted to address the AFP in an exclusive RN, limiting the scope of RN 483/22 to individual demands only. Otherwise, the new RN does not, in principle, innovate relative to the latest version analyzed in 2025.
NORMATIVE RESOLUTION ANS No. 659, OF DECEMBER 22, 2025: Amends Normative Resolution No. 489, of March 29, 2022, which provides for the application of penalties for violations of the legislation on private health care plans.
