ANS releases the result of the 2025 Supplementary Health Performance Index
Data for base year 2024 indicate that more than 70% of health plan operators are in the top two bands of the index
ANS releases its 2026 Annual Management Plan
The Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (ANS) has made available on its website the 2026 Annual Management Plan (PGA 2026), approved on Dec 15, 2025. The document reinforces the Agency’s commitment to planning and guiding the use of the organization’s resources to improve results, based on a strategic vision and on the regulator’s efforts, which make it possible to better monitor ANS’s annual performance.
The PGA 2026 covers 34 actions scheduled for execution throughout 2026, addressing the Agency’s nine Strategic Objectives, and sets targets, results and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of the services provided by the Agency. The publication also includes the estimate of budget resources needed to achieve the expected results and the financial disbursement schedule.

- CP 165. Aims to receive contributions on the proposed Normative Resolution governing the transfer of portfolios of private health care plans between private health care plan operators. Deadline: Jan 23, 2026.
