At her request and effective Oct 15, ANS relieved Maria Tereza de Marsilac Pasinato of the duty of acting substitute head of the Assessoria de Informação Assistencial — ASSIA/GGRAS/DIPRO. Priscilla Brasileiro Constantino was designated to the same duty.

Public Consultation 179: ANS receives contributions on the Monitoring of the Guarantee of Care
ANS has opened a consultation on the proposed amendment to Normative Instruction No. 31, concerning the Monitoring of the Guarantee of Care. Contributions may be submitted until Dec 7, 2026. The proposal maintains:
- the consideration of unresolved complaints;
- the classification of health plan operators into bands 0 to 3;
- the characterization of recurrence by remaining in band 3 for two consecutive periods; and
- the minimum numbers of complaints for assessment.
Among the proposed changes are new criteria to identify medical-hospital health plan operators with results far below the market or with a worsening over two successive periods. For exclusively dental health plan operators, it is proposed not to apply, in the regular flow, the temporary suspension of sales, although they remain subject to monitoring.
