DIOPE/ANS NOTICE OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2026 – CANCELLATION OF THE REGISTRATION OF BRADSAÚDE S.A.
In a supplementary review of the previous week’s editions, an ANS notice was identified regarding the cancellation, at the operator’s request, of the registration of the health plan operator BRADSAÚDE S.A., ANS registration No. 30.194-9.
According to the company’s notice to the market, the measure is part of the business combination between Bradsaúde and Bradesco Saúde. Bradsaúde transferred its dental plan portfolio and its other operating assets and liabilities to Mediservice Operadora de Planos de Saúde, and no longer acts directly as an operating entity.
RULINGS ON TAX CONSULTATIONS (SOLUÇÕES DE CONSULTA) No. 3,049 AND No. 3,050, OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2026
The Federal Revenue Service published interpretations on the percentages applicable to the IRPJ and CSLL calculation base under the presumed profit regime for dental, hospital and diagnostic support and therapy services. In summary, the reduced percentages of 8% for IRPJ and 12% for CSLL depend on the activities actually qualifying as hospital services or diagnostic support and therapy services, on the provider being organized as a business entity (sociedade empresária), and on compliance with Anvisa’s sanitary rules. For general dental services, or where the requirements are not met, the 32% percentage applies.
Where there are activities subject to different percentages, revenues must be segregated.
