Judicialization of health to be debated at Fonajus congress in Rio
The challenges of the judicialization of health in Brazil will be at the center of the debates at the V Congress of the National Judiciary Forum for Health, to be held on November 5 and 6, in Rio de Janeiro. The event is promoted by the National Council of Justice (CNJ), through the National Judiciary Forum for Health (Fonajus), in partnership with the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ).
Held at the TJRJ headquarters, in the city center, the congress seeks to broaden technical knowledge about public and supplementary health and to promote reflection on the challenges of judicialization, focusing on the qualification and rationalization of lawsuits in the health field. The meeting is aimed at judges, representatives of the public and supplementary health sectors, and others interested in the topic.
The program includes four thematic workshops, which will address judicialization related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), cannabis products and oncological pharmaceutical assistance, as well as compliance with court decisions in health.
